Ben Nickoll and Fritz Wahl formed Ore Hill Partners LLC in March 2002 as a credit-focused hedge fund manager. These founding partners, employees and Man Group plc, one of the world's leading alternative asset management businesses listed on the London Stock Exchange, jointly own Ore Hill. Man acquired a 50% stake in Ore Hill in May 2008, with the founding partners maintaining control.
